Resisting Nazism True Stories of Resistance to the World's Most Dangerous Ideology, from 1920 to the Present by Luke Berryman

This was an excellent addition to the many books about The Second World War. The resisters range from cartoonists who tried to warn people about the Nazi regime to Alexander Pechersky, who led the uprising in Sobibor. I especially liked the chapter about the Edelweiss Pirates, teenagers who resisted the brainwashing of the schools and Hitler Youth.

The chapter on past Neo-Nazis is interesting, and I see what the author is trying to do, but I did wonder if chapters on the present day could be made into a separate book.

It is an extremely harrowing read, as is to be expected.

I received this free ebook from NetGalley in return for an honest review.
