Highland Getaway by Amber Eve
This was cute holiday reading.
Rosie, broken-hearted and tired of her life, accepts a free trip to a Scottish Highland castle as part of an influencer contest, even though she knows that she’s the wrong Rosie. Here, she meets Hunter Stuart, who is not impressed by her love of shopping, and seemingly superficial attitudes. Rosie gets into all sorts of amusing scrapes, and has to deal with nasty influencers, but is someone actually trying to kill her?
It was very easy to identify with Rosie, and I enjoyed the beautiful descriptions of the scenery. However, Hunter’s practically always being there to rescue her when she got herself into dodgy situations was rather unbelievable, although, on the other hand, he’s a very sensitive and likeable hero.
I found this a bit long too, for a romance.
I received this free ebook from NetGalley in return for an honest review.
