By Way of Paris by Christopher J. Newman

 Although I really liked the main character in this book who is bored, restless and wants to experience other countries and I enjoyed the beginning about London, once he went to Paris it just got too violent for me. Luke winds up at a party filled with drugs and a murder happens. Then he gets involved with the violent gang as research for his novel.

I found it pretty graphic and it is just not my kind of book so I didn’t finish it. If you can cope with the violence and graphic descriptions, you will probably enjoy it.
