This is another great mystery from T.A. Williams, featuring private detective Dan and his trusty Labrador, Oscar. When Dan receives an invite to play private detective at famous actress Alice Graceland’s part in Venice, he is understandably excited because he has never been there before. Unfortunately, he is really in for more than he bargained for, when one of the party-goers is murdered. It’s a true race against time to discover means and motive after a second murder, and Dan diligently studies the evidence, while enjoying his luxurious stay and delicious food in the gorgeous canal city. T.A. Williams keeps the reader guessing until the last moment.

This was a pleasant escape to beautiful Venice for a few days with Dan and Oscar. I always enjoy these mysteries.
